Welcome to Task Force Liberty!
Everyone commands their own ship here!
Welcome to Task Force Liberty, a unique sandbox style Star Trek RPG simulation set in the year 2385. Here you command your own ship of your own choosing (within reason!). You go off on your own little missions and adventures and work with other ships within the task force.
You can also join other ships crews and join them on their adventures too! Its quite simple, we're here as a group of dedicated lovers and writers of Star Trek and we want to just have fun in our little corner of the galaxy.

How does it work?
Its quite simple. You apply to be the Commanding Officer of a ship that you name. The Task Force Admirality will set missions out a bit like a 'Quest Board'. Depending on what you want to do, you can choose one of the preset missions, just ask to take it and we'll assign it to you. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, then submit a mission idea for your ship.
Can I play other positions?
Yes you can! If you want to play on another ship, each player is allowed upto four secondary characters. You can play not only as your Commanding Officer, but also as the Chief Engineer on another ship. Alternatively you can play as your own crew too if you want to write solo.
Do I have to be a Commanding Officer?
The short answer is no. If you want to be a regular position on one of the ships then feel free to apply for it. Each Commanding Officer will decide who is on their own 'mini-ships'. However we strongly advise you command your own Starship, because being the Captain is the best job!

((SB Liberty, Conference Room 1)
There was alot of pips on alot of collars in the room. The senior staff of the Sector, Task Force and the CO of the Station aswell as a half dozen of the Task Force ships COs were all in attendance. Hawks, as the Task Force CO, and notionally the second most senior officer in the room was scheduled to speak second at the meeting. In addition to those in the room a few ships COs were joining the mission via subspace on a large viewscreen as one end of the room. Someone, presumably the…

The Angel I night breeze was warm, filled with the aroma of blooming vines. Crickets sang in the rear of the guest wing, their songs muffled by closed windows. Captain Ellis Thornwel slept restlessly, the hum of unfamiliar surroundings never permitting him truly to rest. Lt. Cmdr. Owen Cooper lay in the room's corner, deep, rhythmic breathing, and he'd finally succumbed to exhaustion.
A soft chime at the door. Then another, one insistent, but hesitant.
Ellis sat up, curious. He and Owen had been going over the diplomatic behavior package the UFP State office sent over, wondering what they should…

((Starbase Liberty, Concourse, Docking Bay))
Rear Admiral Jacob Hawks SMH PMV. It had a nice ring to it. The cocksure, smart ass, bird of another feather had just been promoted to the ranks of the Admiralty, and he and his new ship had just arrived at Starbase 420, which was colloquially known as Starbase Liberty. The base was one of the first generation of Spacedock II class stations, and took its nickname from the fact that several star systems had declared their independance from the Tarlarians in the early 2340s and Starfleet has established the base with the standing orders…

"Captain's log stardate... The USS Midway is in orbit around Angel I. The last time the Federation contacted this civilization was when the Enterprise visited years ago. Since then, they formed a military pact with the Romulan Star Empire, allowing them to dock and resupply in their space during the Dominion War. We have been tasked with escorting the Under Secretary for Orbital Affairs to Vulcan for a military conference on starship weaponry. But first, a cultural mission where we will live and experience the Angelite culture.
Ellis and the Midway's vet, dentist, trauma surgeon, and shrink, Doctor O Cooper,…

Mission: Assembling The Fleet
Posted on Mon Sep 22nd, 2025 @ 11:02pm by Vice Admiral Mei Irizaki
Vice Admiral Mei Irizaki, stepped off the transporter pad in the spacious transporter room of the Galaxy Class, USS Madison. This would be her new home and new command. The Vice Admiral looked young, but in fact she was well over two hundred and fifty years old. It was due to her species, El-Aurian. They were known as a race of listeners, and known for their extraordinary long life spans.
"Admiral," The officer at the transporter operator said standing instantly to attention. Mei couldn't help but smile. Once upon a time, many years ago that would have been her standing…
